When will watchOS 9 be announced?

WatchOS 9 will be announced on June 6 during the WWDC keynote 2022, in which we can also take a first look at the new versions of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 9 and tvOS 16.

As per the practice of the last 2 years, the WWDC will be streamed - except for a few lucky students and developers who will be able to attend the keynote in person at Apple Park - and then Apple will release the first beta versions for developers and then release a public beta in July and the official version of watchOS 9 between September and October 2022.
